Support Measures by Tokushima University

Tokushima University offers the following support for students who are facing difficulties continuing their studies in the United States due to recent policy changes by the U.S. government and who wish to continue their education in Japan.

■ Support for Student Admission
[Enrollment as a Non-Degree Student]
Tokushima University accepts non-degree students (credit-earning students or research students). Application deadlines and procedures may be handled flexibly depending on individual circumstances.

[Enrollment as a Regular Student]
(1) Undergraduate Admission
Students who pass the standard entrance examination may enroll from April 2026.
In some faculties, special consideration may be given to transfer admissions or alternative entrance procedures in light of the current exceptional circumstances.

(2) Graduate Admission
Students who pass the standard entrance examination may enroll from either October 2025 or April 2026.
Please refer to the following graduate program guide for information on application requirements for each graduate school.
Some graduate schools may also offer special transfer admission or alternative entrance procedures to accommodate the current situation.

■ Additional Support
(1) Exemption of Application Fee:
The application fee may be waived depending on individual circumstances. Please contact us to confirm eligibility.

(2) University Dormitories:
Dormitory accommodation (with fees) will be offered to those who request it.

(3) Living Support:
International students will receive assistance with travel procedures and daily life support through our tutor system.

(4) Online Classes:
Students enrolled as regular or non-degree students may take online courses if the desired subjects are available in a remote format.
